Re: cleaning toys

Just checked it out on the Argos website. Looks like a bargain with it being on special offer at the moment for £49.99p.

I wouldn't want to pay much more than £2,300 tops.

Two terriers, one's a 2 year old Jack Russell and the other's an 18 month old cross between a Jack Russell and a Patterdale.

Re: help with adhesive/sealant

Silicone sealant. It will hold the protectors on and give a bit of flex and if you want to remove them later on then WD40 can be used to remove the silicone (useful to know if you are re-sealing your bathroom!). Al. +1 Adi of Carbonadi fame supplys Wurth's silicone sealant to attach his carbon engi...

Re: Hi Guys/Gals,

. Hope the low speed handling is nice and predictable or might not get home on Sunday in one piece!! Welcome aboard Mav. I had concerns about riding my bike back home for the first time having had a break from bikes for a while and was pleasantly surprised how quickly I took to it. Whilst I find th...

Re: End of Mallory Park ?

I find it ridiculous that this has all been bought about by local residents complaining about noise levels. What do people expect when they choose to move so close to a motor racing circuit ?

Re: motorbike delivery/collection

I've used this guy ( John ) in the past, J&M M/C COLLECTION 0795 154 1477. The last time I used him was last year and he charged £120 inc VAT over a distance of 110 miles.

Re: Problem with LED tail light

Since posting I've just fitted a set of LED indicators which appears to have solved the flashing rear light problem. For some reason with ordinary bulb type indicators there seems to be some kind of power drain going on.

Re: Problem with LED tail light

I'm still having issues with the electrics on my bike and haven't solved the initial problem. I've been all around the bike cleaning up connections and earthing points etc. I have noticed that even with the engine running I have a slight dimming of the lights etc when I activate things such as the h...

Your Snow is on another level to us 8O ) + 1 Black ice is what I used to worry about more than anything else when I used to ride in winter many years ago. Well done with the mot Callam  Chris. I had a scary time years ago when I hit a patch of black ice at a T junction and ended up weaving...

I'll have a go at running a new earth wire from the tail light to another point and take it from there.

Problem with LED tail light

Just failed my MOT on account of the indicators interfering with my LED tail light. For some reason when I switch on the indicators the tail light flickers when they flash. I have not connected the inbuilt indicators and it's a problem that has only shown up now. Any ideas on how to fix things would...

Re: vtr simo rep on the bay of evil

I'm put off by the colour scheme and the lack of a head light and indicators. For me a bike has to be road legal for both day time and night time use to be of any interest.

Re: hiring car abroad

The smallest car I've ever hired abroad was a Toyota Yaris during the winter in Norway. Granted it had studded tyres but I drove from Tromso up to Alta and back and it performed surprisingly well and given it's small size was quite spacious.
