I got pair of 929 blade calipers and m/c with new pads off the bay of e, £180. Don't know if that is cheap or not, but sooooo much better :) :)

Should have loom Monday, £45 looked good in pics. Will have to wait and see when it turns up..... On a brighter note have had time as bike in bit to fit samco hoses, and fireblade 929 calipers and master cylinder :D :D

Could it be a naff wire somewhere in the loom ?? Would it be worth trying to find it p, or would it just be easier to get another loom ? If so how bad of a job is that ??

Had tight kill switch, but mine don't turn over if it's in the off position, all lights, horn work fine spins over like a good'un just no spark, pulling what hair got left out, how can it go from running too not in the time it took to pay for the petrol...... bloody electrics :D :D

Just been and checked defo got petrol in tank, only thing that happened was had to jump it that morning, but fired straight up got to garage filled up and nowt. Turned over put didn't start.

Yep she turns over like a good'un, changed the HT leads when got coils, just joined Sidestrand wires together, unfortunately made no difference..... ouff

Quit sure it's not fueling problem, as it happened at pump, also drained half the fuel out when got home made no difference. Defo no spark even tried new plugs today. Put old sheet over me and bike just to make it as dark as possible, not a thing .

Think it's dead

Hello all got bit of a problem. After filling up, bike wouldn't start, AA about as much good as tits on a fish...... Any way replaced RR coils and plugs. Turns over fine just no spark. Any ideas help would be much appreciated

As a VOLVO estate driver, would have to say don't matter what car peeps are driving if they ain't looking at the road they ain't gonna see us.......!!!!!! Have too say bloody caravan/ motorhome owners ( holiday makers) but i also think that they may have stopped teaching the use of indicators to you...

being sort of new, have to say not really found it that clicky ( spelling not a strong point). i have found it very helpful even though may of asked the same old questions as everyone else did, but have also done things that i would of never even attempted before, which has saved me a fortune. Pretty much all good now, can't be much else to do..... got the suspension sorted last year, done the rear linkage with grease niples, swinging arm bearings pistons and seals in front and rear brakes, also serviced the master cylinder........ so bike is now covered in white dots of tipex on most of ...

Well after what probbaly was to much tea drinking and fag breaks, the old girl is up and running again. about 6mm of play in cam chain now, instead of the 4mm that was sounds better and starts better. So good job alround i recon..... :thumbup: :thumbup:
