Re: Pics of my new Firestorm
Really looks nice in slver and how you have it. I think gold wheels would look good. Or you could get a gold leather jacket.(joke). I went with GSXR mirrors and wired them to light as running and turn signals. Makes the fron signature of the bike huge to cars. Couldn't believe how everyone noticed m...

Re: Getting expensive...
I guess I was refering to how the stock suspension is horrendous. Very undersprung forks and super oversprung shock with totally wrong damping. The bikes weakest link by a huge margin. Anyone light enough for a stock front would be way too light for the shock. You may not know what you are missing b...

Re: Bike crash caught on camera
I gotta say. After 265,000 year round NYC miles, I choose to NEVER watch crash videos on purpose. You will remember those images some cold late night in the rain and subconciously reproduce the results. There are certain things you can't UN-see. So why look? I know its lowest common denominator, and...

Re: Head Bearings
I always go to tapered on all my bikes. Its a slight PIA job but unless you want to do it again soon, go to tapered. They are way stronger and stay smooth as the are the same as used in my van wheels. You can do it by hand if you are really patient and use a million small hammer taps & a bunch o...

Re: Getting expensive...
Redthunder, aren't you listing those mods backwards? I gotta figure you want to do suspension first, everything else second. Go then show? Huge change in the personality of the bike with just a little suspension work.
Just my 2 cents.

Pool cue. I am in NY, not Texas where you can put rifles in the window of your pick-em-up truck.

Re: NYC Hawker
Ha, yeah, I would do em up in blue, but dont want them to lose power or torque. Also strikes less alarm in the rearview of cage drivers. Which is an essential element in this town.

NYC Hawker
So have been wanting to join this site for a while now. Long time hawker & roadracer. Am on another US forum (if that wont get me kicked off here).
Not seeing how I can add pics to this post. If anyone can help me out with how, I'd appreciate it.
