Re: Hey there
Yes, straight swap, no fairing issues. The only differance is that they are Black and have a 7 degree more rise. It does not look like much when you compare them side by side but it does make a subtle difference. (:-}) That sounds like exactly what I am looking for, thanks. Plus it means I can spen...

Re: Hey there
Got to watch them typo's around here. As for clip on bars. If your finding the standard ones a little too low then you could get some later modelled Storm bars which are Black in colour and have a slightly higher degree rise to them. IIRC I think it's a 7 degree rise. This is what I use and they do...

Red spotted in Macc...
Red one seen near Jordangate Macclesfield yesterday morning.
I was in the car so didn't let on as that would just be weird.

The CBR125 bolts straight in - uses both bolt holes, you can be sure of a good earth then.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk and my fat fingers and thumbs.... Presume...

Re: Hey there
Thanks for the warm welcome. I would possibly consider risers but want to keep the clip ons as the main reason for getting the Firestorm was to do the sports bike thing before I get too old or inflexible to rise one :) I got 80 odd miles in yesterday and am starting to fit the bike a bit better now,...

Regulator/Rectifier
Dumb noob question here. I have read the threads on replacing the standard smooth reg/rec and can see suggestions for Yamaha ones etc or the CBR 125. Does the later, finned version for the VTR not bolt straight on using the existing holes/wiring etc.? Basically looking for a totally plug and play so...

Hey there
Have had my Firestorm for a while now but due to work commitments haven't been able to use it. Luckily a break in work has coincided with the sunshine and I have been able to get a few miles in. First impressions are good, love the engine, and the stability, struggling a bit with the riding position...
