Hey Steve, thanks for that, I'll see if I can borrow one from someone who doesn't mind me carving up a motorbike with it [emoji1]Steve97 wrote:Hi Jamie

M8 to M6 thread reducer? Do they exist?
All hail the mighty VTR hive mind... I have an M8 hole, but I want to use M6 bolts, do you know if a reducer exists? I ordered a pack on eBay from a "UK seller" which looked perfect for the job, but turns out the seller is actually in China and this was last year and they never arrived. Do...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Had the day off work today and I'm now determined to crack on with the Firestorm! Part 1: Made a start with recovering my seat base. Gave up on that pretty quickly as I can't seem to shape the foam with any of the basic tools I have. A hacksaw blade just tore it up and a new Stanley blade wouldn't c...

"What have you done to your bike today?" Nothing, it's too hot. But I built a model plane and razzed it around an American WW2 airbase [emoji3] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220716/b53035a05e5114adcf3cc9f3a1a1d1c7.jpg Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk Used to fly RC stuff way back...

Not today, but yesterday I cleaned the carbs on the LC and fitted a new battery. Great lid Al, I like the design (and your choice of contrasting colours [emoji1]). I've got the NXR 2, after years of using the Shoei xr range. I've always needed the thicker cheek pads too. Can't believe how expensive visors and cheekpads are these days! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220716/aa...

Nice one Duffy! Wouldn't mind a little razz to the chip shop on that.

Re: 25th Anniversary Meet up. 9th July National Motorcycle museum
Just wanted to say, it was superb to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. It was like a mini "Op Storm". The national motorcycle museum was brilliant, I can appreciate the old stuff, but it was the collection of ex race bikes which stole the show for me. Especially the Hislop ...
