Nice looking Storm mate.
Mine isn't a patch on my B1250 for roll on acceleration or outright speed but I do like the fat mid range and lighter weight by 50kg.

My Kriegers are on their way for less than $100 AU.
I'm not sure on the UK £ conversion but I call that pretty cheap insurance.

Indicator Lenses
Seeing as I havent knocked up the required number of posts I can only pose this question here :sad2 Does anyone know where I can get clear indicator lenses from? I dont mind the look of the originals (2000) but think the orange lenses really date the bike. My Bandit has clear lenses/orange globe and...

Scarlett's Additions
Scarlett got a new Aussie made "screens for bikes" DB profile screen and Delkavic cans yesterday.
I'm very happy with both although the neighbours may not approve of the cans

Re: Hello from Lincolnshire
Welcome.
I have a 2000 too and it was my first V-Twin.
Slowly sorting her out.
Not quite the legend I was i've heard stories about but a lot of fun. Maybe I've been spoilt by great i4's

Re: My First Vtr and i want to no about the headlight
I haven’t ridden my Storm at night but it would have to be crap to be worse than the GSF1250S candle on the front of my Bandit
It’s bad enough playing dodge the kangaroo in daylight. I’m not about to play that game at night where I live and work

Re: Morning All
G’day and welcome. I haven’t had my Storm long but buying goodies (some out of necessity) has become almost addictive. I’ve even resorted to taking deliveries at work so the Mrs doesn’t find out. Bless me father for I have sinned :) They’re good value if you can keep them going and ride them for wha...
