Hi guys , im after some information on chain and sprockets for my 98 vtr1000 , i have debaffled standard cans , and the flywheel mod on my steed , the chain and sprockets need renewing , so what are peoples recommendations , do i stick with standard 16 41 or should i try a different set up , and if ...

Just been for a test ride and im amazed at how different my bike is after the flywheel mod , no lurching power , all smooth delivery and when your in around 6 7 8 grand the thing takes off , its awesome , its like a newbike , the engine braking is very mild in low revs but that makes the bike ride s...

Flywheel all done to rogers specs and put back together , fired up first time as allways but the engine sounds a little different , and when revving it seems a bit more sprightly just got to test ride now and see how it goes :0)

Thanks alot for the help , ive just lightened my flywheel to rogers specs and refitted it , its all running and the engine seems more sprightly and it sounds a little quieter for some reason , just got to test ride it now and see how awesome it is

Yeah ive got a gun and ive got it off thanks , what about the flywheel puller , ive screwed the 22mm piece in then do i just screw the smaller nut in ?

All that sh1t just confused the hell out of me , ive just been in touch with roger ditchfield and enquired about the 150 bhp work lol , thats more brake than a 2001 r1 im tempted .

You guys seriously though what will it do to my bike because im doing it tomorrow , will it ruin my bike ? what about the engine braking will i lose that ? will it still accellerate as good as standard ?

Hi there i was wondering if anybody knew where to get hold of a 4 deg ignition advancer and if its even worth getting one , do they work well , what sort of performance gains will i get ? thanks .

I mean the water pipes the big black ones that carry the water around , should they be hard when running ? ie is the system pressurised ?

Thanks for the replys , the water isnt coming from the water overflow tank or pipe , i cant actually see where its coming from when its ticking over , how much pressure should be in the water sytem when running ? Should the pipes be hard when running or squidgy

Ive just ran the bike up to fan cutting in temperature and no water leaking anywhere !!!! Which i find odd , the water pump should still pump when idle shouldnt it ?
