Front indicators - ideas?
Hi y'all. So the fairings are all back and re-painted, just need to find the time to start putting it back together now! The original front indicators were both pretty tired looking so I've decided to replace them altogether. So what I have now are just the two awkward looking holes in the fairings....

Re: Seat gap...if you know what I mean
OK, so there's an unsightly gap between my seat cushion and the fairing, it seems to have gotten more pronounced as time has moved on. With the addition of a seat hump it just looks silly and people stop, point and laugh, that could just be at me too I suppose. Nothing obvious is wrong, but now as t...

Re: Seat gap...if you know what I mean
You could try putting some spacers under the the rear of the tail fairing where the two mounting screws are. I think it would be simpler to adjust the fairing rather than the seat. Nice clean looking Storm you have there. (:-}) Not so clean now eh? Not so pretty ha ha! http://i493.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Oil change
I know I could Google it, but what spec's must the engine oil meet for the Storm? ACEA etc etc? I'd much prefer to use a fully synthetic 10w-40 if I could, have seen so many cars ruined by semi-syn oil turning to sludge when service intervals are exceeded. Left the bike idling recently and it boiled...

Re: Oil change
I restored an old Yamaha XJ550 YICS 1982 and put auld car oil in it no bother, can't say I'd be too trusting doing the same in the Storm! I'm interested in the debate - carry on !
