Re: Sky/Freeview/Freesat - which are you?
We done away with sky a few years ago due to the cost being nearly £90 a month . We now use HD free view using the old sky dish and cable. Also we have the now TV box for 6 quid a month. Although we are subscribed to talk talk TV but the box has never been connected as we have no aerial on the roof....

Re: Full Bike & Extra Block Spares/Repairs
I had a look on his profile it looks like he brought a heap and swapped loads of parts Inc wheels which I believe had new tyres on.
On a plus side I'm sure someone will snap it up from you mate.

Re: Full Bike & Extra Block Spares/Repairs
Wicky - that's the one indeed! - Suffice to say bought the bike and what turned up was NOT what was pictured! My own stupid fault i guess :/ Duffy & Watty - totally open to offers of course! . I had made arrangements to collect today (saturday) for £350 however if I'd have turned up and seen it...

Re: crash protection frame sliders
I did consider having the frame done black but couldn't bring myself to powdercoat a spondon frame so as it's been polished in the past I'll re Polish it, the black bracket should go quite nicely with the black rearsets

Re: crash protection frame sliders
I didn't fancy cutting the fairing either so bought GSG crash protectors, which I'm guessing these are based on. A bit of 1mm rubber matting on the frame side stops the top of the mount and grub screws digging in to the metal (or in my case powdercoat) and creates a snug fit. They almost disappear ...

Re: crash protection frame sliders
They look smart. I was also looking for the same but also swing arm and fork ones. Not sure what they cost you to make but maybe if you sold them and maybe offered anodised options as well? Maybe a bit of testing though as macdee says. Don't want them to dig in and catapult the bike on a slide. If ...

To be honest I'm really not sure .may Polish them as the frame is polished but then again I quite like the idea of powder coating the bracket to give a different contrast

crash protection frame sliders
Looking for opinions as I got tired of trying to find good frame sliders without butchering bodywork or having some huge bracket with a blob of nylon sticking out so I am making my own . Not quite furnished yet but very close. Aircraft grade aluminium http://i1380.photobucket.com/albums/ah170/monkey...
