Re: GrainStorm IV
I've made a mark in my diary for November 2025. By that time, I may have been able to save up enough for road tax, Insurance, MOT, Tyres, CCTs and enough fuel to get me to there and back again. And that's straight down and straight back up, keeping as close to the 1,220 miles as I can (I ...

Re: Denali Soundbomb Mini
Hello JNB. I've not used the Denali mini horn, but do know someone who has one fitted to their bike (not a VTR). It is indeed a ''plug n play'' horn (you might have a choice of spade terminals to connect it, as Denali spades may have a choice of thin or wide terminals. It's a fair bit bigger than ...

Good God. It took me 1hr and 39 minutes before I could reply to the post! All I fot was a lopt of blue writing saying ''image'', and connecting and downloading data from i286/photobucket/firestorm996 ... I almost gave up. But...we got there in the end. and now, I can't even remember what I was going ...

Had a fair few dogs in de past, but last one was a choccy lab. Joined at the hip we were and a proper dog that was into bikes. Rev the knackers off something, and he's there, tail going 10 to the dozen. Crafty bugger had a thing for screwdrivers, and would steal one as soon as you turned yer back. A ...

Now I have somewhere to go when the wife gets annoyed at me. Erm...no. Now your wife has somewhere to go when she's annoyed at you. You'd need yer tools, the TV, the fridge with the beer, bike mags and there's simply no room in there for all that, along with yer bike. Whilst all she needs, is a cup ...

Re: Packaging!!!
We all know breakers sell millions of bits, and so packing costs are wanting to stay as low as possible. Which is fine using bags for small items (non perishable/breakable things), but I agree: plastics need to get sent in a box. As does glass (I wonder what they would have done of you asked for the ...

Re: Packaging!!!
Ach Jeez, now THAT's a bummer. You can claim everything back - as you have photographic proof of inedadquate or unsuitable packing materials for the contents within. I had this a few years back when I bought a pipe ashtray, and the seller wrapped it up in ONE sheet of paper, then slung ...

Hello GBM, did you get any brief encounters on hug a ginge day recently? Hug a Ginger day? Is there such a thing? Blimey! Well, the fact I've never heard of it kind of answers yer question. Nope....no one came up to me for a hug. In fact...no one comes up to me full stop. They never do for some ...

I picked up a VTR last week....so expect to see me in the workshop a fair bit soon! And we look forward to a new arrival in the workshop. We only charge £120 an hour (excluding VAT).  It's funny you should say you picked up a VTR recently. Our fellow resident MacV2 also picked up a ...
