Re: Installation of Krieger CCTs

Thanks Mac & Tony, although tempted to have a go, the rear suspension linkage also needs servicing so I'll take it into Steve Jordan or Beakys to see what they have to offer!

Installation of Krieger CCTs

I have a pair of Krieger CCTs, is there anyone within striking distance of Croydon who can either install them for me or assist me in doing it myself. For payment of course,

Many thanks,

Peter

Re: Oil Leak?

Thanks lloydie, been out to look and it's actually the breather pipe from the coolant reservoir? Doesn't appear to be over full. I suppose that accounts as to why it's so clear

Oil Leak?

Firstly, I know so many of you on here are very knowledgeable so forgive my ignorance. I wondered whether anyone can explain why I have a few drops of oil coming from what appear to be breather pipes under my bike? It's only a small amount and appears very clean. I did top up the oil recently and ma...

Workshop Manual

Four rides in now with 'storm ownership and loving every minute. If I'm not riding it then I'm cleaning it! Couldn't make it to Grain but am keen to learn more about my bike and do as much as I can myself. Therefore, I want to get hold of a pukka Honda workshop manual. Mine's a 2003 model. Can anyon...

Re: Back in the Saddle!

Very generous offer Mac, thanks. What are the best CCT's to buy and when do these workshops take place. I presume I'd need to book in or something? Sounds too good to be true!

Re: Back in the Saddle!

Many thanks everyone. Yes, I'm in Purley, Croydon, soon to be moving out a bit further, possibly Dorking or Reigate. Now I'm not dependent on the bike for commuting I intend to lavish all the TLC on her she requires - are there any good mechanics/dealerships or otherwise down here as I'm quite retar...

Back in the Saddle!

Following a rush of blood to the head I decided I had to get another bike before dementia set in. A decade must have past since I last rode. Prior to stopping riding I rode daily in and around London on a ZX10 and latterly an XJ900. Anyway, I had seen a blue VTR in Dobles in Coulsdon and fell in lov...
