Yesterday after work I backed the preload all the way back to the 2nd notch, it was on the 5th or around there, far too hard... I also backed the rebound off on the front forks a bit as it was wound all the way in :crazy: Anyway after a short blast down a fairly bumpy local backroad its much improve...

The thing that puts me off is modifying the fairing, I think I'll leave it unless some cheap spare fairings come up for sale

Have you got any pictures of that with the modified fairing?

I might give this a go myself if the standard clip ons become too much on the wrists

Check the usual, earths, shorts, make sure your battery voltage when running is correct, if the R/R is on its way out it could be causing a spike in voltage and taking out your new switches

Mine has really cheap looking carbon effect plastic indicators fitted, which are known to add at least 40bhp at the back wheel, so mines definitely faster

The other thing I forgot to mention is the suspension... Ohlins fork internals and a 6mm spacer in the rear shock, I've never ridden a stock one to compare it to and I've not had a chance to ride it properly yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles
