Re: Number plate light not working (LED tail unit)- Any advi
So Tony kindly sorted me with a new rear light at Grainstorm. In the meantime I've pretty much confirmed that a lack of no. plate light was never going to fail me an MOT anyway. However, my lovely new super bling smoked black LED rear light with integral indicators just could! Apparently it depends...

Refurbing Fork Lowers - options?
Hi all.
The fork lowers on my storm are looking a bit... crap.
What do you guys recommend for brining them back to their former glory? Paint, polish, vinyl etc? Anyone on here tarted theirs up?
Cheers

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Hugger from Stu arrived today, the bracket was rusty so I attacked it with the belt sander/grinder. Next up will be a go with the rotary tool and a wire brush. Then it should be ready for paint.

Re: Ride Out South Yorkshire area
A mate of mine took me out kinda Bakewell direction a few weeks ago, that had some lovely roads but couldn't really get away from traffic. We headed up to the roundabout at Norton, straight on (coming from Gleadless) and then right but I'm lost after that ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Europe - In or Out?
Funny how the Stay campaign have to resort to fear and insults. Want out, you're clearly illiterate and a racist and unable to decide for yourself... Tell me I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we're a democracy (unlike the EU). What do you think will happen when the Government (the one the champagne-soc...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I started my bike today, then frowned at it for a bit. Topped up the oil while I wait for my new oil and oil filter to arrive. Shook my head at it. Planned some new exhausts. Frowned some more. Then tried to figure out how much it was going to cost me to get it looking decent again before heading ba...

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
Hello demon, it's M10 threaded bar but I'll be turning up a permanent part from 20mm stainless. Ah that's going to make all the difference IMHO, I couldn't help thinking what you have at the moment looked to spindly, although the lines look miles better. The thicker one should do the trick :thumbup...

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
That's looking good! How thick is the threaded rod, how strong will it be?
Also, what's the cafe part of the fighter?![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
