I use Ultimate Ear plugs for my intercom with the wife. Love them. They can get uncomfortable after a full day on the bike & in very hot climate, you can get sweaty ears that can make them move slightly.
For me though, I would definitely buy again.

Re: Mopedathon May 22nd
That's a no unfortunately, but I can imagine it would be a scream - right up until the old man joints started complaining    i am that old man already! .... Thankfully this one is not that small, I made a point of getting one of the bigger frames that is legal for the BMB racing form...

Have you seen what C90's go for these days - even a box of bits is enough to give you a heart attack I remember finding them down the woods when I was a kid, I bet you'll be lucky to get one under a grand

Re: Mopedathon May 22nd
It’s more a war of attrition! The amount of bikes that start but don’t finish is quite high. Reasoning the laps aren’t timed or counted is because making it a ‘race’ makes massive implications on the event insurance. No different than when the club runs an Airfield Riding Day (ARD) That doesn’...

Mopedathon May 22nd
This years ‘Mopedathon’ will be held on 22nd May at RAF Odiham. It’s a Charity event comprising of teams of (minimum) 4 people and a scooter 50cc 2 stroke or (up to) 90cc 4 stroke. The scooter MUST have been road legal at some point - so no pit bikes or race bikes. The engine must be able to be swit...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I've always had one fitted but had to relocate it. I've no fuel tap on mine so no vacuum pipe, just a straight connection to the pump. What do you have connection wise - or do you mean the tap now has no diaphragm in it? That’s the route I am going. When I had the bike on the dyno, we didn’t use th...

Re: rev counter not working or intermittent
Did you sort this? I had an errant tacho needle, it was showing like I was on a 2 stroke (off the scale)or nothing, I removed all the wires off the back of the instrument cluster and cleaned them up with my dremel. Seemed to do the trick.

Re: Ongoing Fueling issues
I’ve still not checked the breather on the tank - I totally forgot if I’m honest, I have just got a 2nd hand fuel tap (I broke mine in a tired strop (removed the valve so that it is always open but broke the cast centre piece!) Anyway, once it warms up a bit, I’ll be having a fiddle! The first ARD p...
