brake lines and clutches
can feel my brake hoses straining when I hold them, and pull the brake lever. The brakes also feel more spongey than those on my thunderace or FJR. I'm going to invest in some braided hoses, and replace the fluid, and that should do the trick. Anyone got any recommendations for hoses? cheap source? ...

As far as chicken strips go, i usually have about 5mm left. But to be honest if you look at the wall angle at the tyre edge i reckon the cans ( standardish ) will touch down first ! Am i wrong ? if there was zero tyre deformation, you're possibily right, but the rear will flex a little, and ...

bikini belly pan (stock item?)
the 'storm I picked up on Monday had an aftermarket bellypan fitted, which I just don't like the look of. the 'Storm, in my opinion, wasn't designed to be fully faired. I took it off, and it looks much better, but was wondering if leaving the oil filter exposed like that is a good idea. Lots of the ...

I wondered if they would be too much on the 'storm, but it seems I'm wrong. Might have to find some more cash from somewhere :D (although this weekend's project...

I've got Philips Vision Plus on my FJR, and they are noticeably brighter. one of the bulbs went 'pop', my lbs didn't have a Vision-plus in stock, so I stuck a Vision-plus-alike in. The FJR has a twin headlight, so I could see them side by side and it was obviously less bright than the proper Philips...

Rode in with my leathers on yesterday, no slippiness, but much warmer. my textiles are Hein gericke, the trousers are mesh around the thigh, but cordura from just above the knee, down. The jacket's cordura, but has mesh panels across the upper chest, there's also vents on the inside of the arm, two ...
