Sorry for the stupid question, but, how to measure sag?
I understand that is the difference in distance from the bike to the floor with and without the pilot, but, where to measure it?
Thanks

Re: Rear shock absorber
Just installed the YSS shock absorber this morning. At the same time I have re-greased the bearings of the suspension links. ( One of them were really hard to rotate). This afternoon I will assemble the exhaust system, and test it. Any advice about initial preload and damping settings? I have assemb...

Wicky, grat link, thanks. I used the search but didn´t find it
KermitLeFrog, I´m not planing to take passenger on the VTR, it´s difficult to convince my wife to ride the Transalp, so imagine the Firestorm..
The link that I have posted is shipped to my house, I think it´s a good price.

Re: K&N Air filter
Thanks for the info.
I will stay in the paper filter then, the engine works awesome, ( and it´s a 97 model with 90.000 km on the clock). The power is more than enough for my usage and the fuel consumption is ok, ( between 28 and 30 mpg)

Re: K&N Air filter
Thanks for the link, very informative. Stephan, he engine works impressive at the moment, ( can´t be more happy with it) but, I have the opportunity now of buying the K&N at a good price, so the question. Also since the engine works in the rich side thought that, maybe a less restrictive air fil...

Re: K&N Air filter
Thanks. I bought my bike second hand, and actually I don´t know if it has any carb modification. ( It has leo vince exhaust installed) The engine works like a charm, very fast response in any situation, very very happy with it, fuel consumption is within limits, ( between 7,7 and 8,3 l/ 100km ) noth...

Seat
Hello. After some searching in the forum, I don´t find info about that. I´m planning to upgrade the seat on my firestorm. I did in my transalp 10 years ago with a topsellerie unit, and I´m very happy with it. It´s not very expensive, you can configure it ( different fabric in different zones, logos,...
