G'Day,

I had similar issues with mine idling poorly and cutting out. Check for vacuum leaks at the carbs and the PAIR system. I removed the PAIR system on mine and replaced a leaky pipe on the front carb and it runs great now

VTR is running great now. Not sure exactly what the problem was as I altered multiple things at once, but I suspect it was an air leak on the PAIR system affecting the front carb. Thanks for the help and suggestions, I can get on with riding it now

Hi,
Mine is now running great. Idling properly and no 8000RPM misfire. Cleaned carbs, removed PAIR system and fitted new plugs and vacuum lines. I cant say which was the culprit as all the work was done at the same time. Hope this helps.

Probably didn't explain this very well. The PAIR system has 2 large tubes that go to the cylinder heads.
