Re: Coronaprojects

Well I started off thinking I'd take this time to repaint my fork stanchions. So after replacing seals and fluid as well as repainting. I accidentally got carried away and put a new chain and sprocket set on, cleaned both wheels and gave them new bearings and properly run the wires for my heated gri...

Re: vtr diet

Erik: wheels you posted would do sure a lot of difference, to put it into perspective, 1st gen triumph 675 wheels on my bike are 3.3 kg front and 5.7 kg rear bare. You have " 1st gen triumph 675 wheels " on your VTR? If so is there a thread on the swap someplace ? I'd also be interested i...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Finally had a break in the weather and started on cleaning my rear wheel, don't know what it's painted with but it's like a magnet to dust and dirt. It's finally looking a brighter yellow, rather than sort of greyed out yellow. Also cleaned my chain while I was there. Then the rain came back so she ...

Yeah I've a feeling there's something not quite right with my camera now, audio is OK during editing but everywhere else it's very quiet.

Re: Helmet Cam Mounts

It seems to be private, were you exspeeding the limit, by any chance? I still have concerns over riding with people with cameras recording me, I know that isn't the purpose but I'd rather not hand the bill the evidence to convict me. Haha, hard to even get to the speed limit round these parts! I've...

Not a GoPro style one but this is how I mount mine too https://i.postimg.cc/Wdc5M2Jb/20200217-140604.jpg I feel it's a decent perspective as you catch the oncoming side of the road more, and those shoulder checks. Out of interest what make camera is that you have and what is the video quality like ...

Re: Helmet Cam Mounts

It's a Drift Stealth 2, unsure if they still make them but they're available on Ebay. The microphone muff is a recent addition, it's got a sh1t mic in a sh1t place, catches all the wind. The video quality is OK, it's certainly no GoPro, but it's less than half the price! I'll get a clip up on the tu...

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?

Paint for my forks arrived today so over the weekend I'll be taking my dremel sanding attachments to the shite paintwork, priming and then respraying. Also an extended family member may be able to powder coat my wheels, they look shite too. So all in all, happy valentines day to my bike! What paint...
