It now idles. Dont drill your pilot jet out to 2.2mm :beer: So to stop the slides moving up and down you blank a hole off in the slide ? And to blank off one of the brass holes at the opening of the carb makes it richer on part throttle. Interestingly pulling the choke out makes it stall. 182 mains ...

Ok . I can't make the damn thing idle
I'm trying to work out how the idle system works. I'm assuming the hole before the throttle is for the choke only . It'll only run with the choke pulled out ..
Any ideas ?

Thanks id realised that . I've got some filter socks for the longer type trumpets Which holes do you blank off to make the slides come up quicker . Could do with some dynojet needles and jets if anybody has some ? :D Its a volvo 360 . 2 litre redblock so sized 500cc per pot . I am planning to build ...

Forums are a blast from the past.
I've got a set of VTR carbs on my road rally car so I'm looking for tuning advice/parts.
Obviously I need to make them both the jet wise so that would be a start
