Re: Best cans
IMO stock round cans with 'correct' mounts look the best, especially with my minor rejig of the link pipes. Made my own hangers to suit. If you need a bit more noise, try drilling a few holes in the plates surrounding the outlet pipes. https://i.postimg.cc/8JHqSvyQ/DSCF3706aa.jpg https://i.postimg.c...

Re: Exhaust Mods Finished
Really simple. (1) I made a single cut through approx 60% of the link pipes as shown below. I drilled small holes at the ends of the cuts to prevent the cuts from cracking more. (2) Made up exhaust hangers to suit where I wanted the cans to be. (3) Ease the exhaust cans up to the new hangers allowin...

Re: Me & She
Great to see the photo's as I owned a Honda 400/4 back in the day 8) Mine was a Red one, it had just over a 1000 miles on it and was just over one year old. I had never ridden such a smooth bike after coming from a Triumph 650 twin. Thanks for posting  Chris. I ended up with this exhaust, ...

Exhaust Mods Finished
Simple mod (apart from some welding), stunning result! https://i.postimg.cc/6Tp5XftM/thumbnail-IMG-1370.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/8JHqSvyQ/DSCF3706aa.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/0bgps4wv/DSCF3713aa.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/sMmS5D0f/DSCF3714.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/cttMmyt9/DSCF3708.jpg

Re: Best cans
Drill a few small holes around the outlet pipe mounting plate will give you a bit more noise without going too loud at no cost (unless loud is what you are after)

Re: Exhaust Can More Aggressive Stance!
Looks like it can be done by cutting and re welding the link pipe. The test confirmed my heel still misses the can in the raised position. https://i.postimg.cc/W4GKxFHq/thumbnail-IMG-1351.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/05W3gqcn/thumbnail-IMG-1352.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/m2PnB6ns/thumbnail-IMG-1354.jpg

Re: Exhaust Can More Aggressive Stance!
MHP Exhausts are just up the road from me. I've spoken to them regarding cutting and re welding the link pipe to the can to the required angle. I've got a spare (ruined) can to be experimented on.
