thanks for the reply i have now got 5mm of fork leg showing, thought i had better change it rather than risk touching down with the exhaust header and risk tipping myself on to my a**e i dont think i would have but you never know and everyone else seems happy with 5mm, wont get to ride until the wee...

Touch down

Just been to the Manx Grand Prix and before i went i put on a Moriwaki belly pan, earlier in this thread there are warnings about pulling the forks through to much as things might start touching down, ive got 15mm showing at the top and i have never had a problem with anything touching town until no...

Ive now got Carbon Can Company end cans on (road legal) stainless steel ovals and they sound good not as loud as the ART race cans they replaced but they sound good and loosen up with age/milage i just bought the cans and used the high level link pipes all ready on, the ART or CCC link pipes let you...

Vstormer if you have only just put the front cog on how much does it affect the speedo :?: does it send it way out :?: and how much do you reckon you have lost top speed wise, i know its not often you get flat out but i would still like to know.

I have pulled the forks through the top yoke so i now have 12mm of fork leg showing this improved things no end turns a lot quicker that and fitting 207rr turns a treat now, doesnt make it an R6 but it helps. I ride hard on the road and have never had any problems with anything touching down,but bes...

Thanks for the info thats not far from me i have made a note of his number and its something i want to do but it will have to wait until i have saved up the pennys, my insurance is due next month and i will need a pair of tyres soon i think :( ho hum

Make sure you scrub em in and after that you will notice a massive change from the macadams, they do turn quicker anyway but i have pulled the forks through the yokes as well and have 15mm of fork leg at the top now to get some more weight over the front and to speed up the steering, i have no probs...
