Cheers for that guys....I'll probably go down the polishing route as it's the perfect excuse to disappear to the shed over winter :lol:
I remember having a ceramic coated Laser pipe on my old CB750F but dont think the budget will stretch there at present.

Polishing

Decided to look at polishing the pipes as they have gone that horrible discoloured brown....Read some of the posts on here first then got hold of some Astonish polish. Here's the dilemma.....Thought i'd do the odd patch by hand before shelling out on the polishing kits etc ready for a nice winters f...

I may be being dumb here (quite probable I have had years of practice :lol: ) but why does swapping the trumpets over increase the velocity of air, given that the air box volume is fixed? I can grasp that making both the same (larger) size would help but swapping front to back still leaves you with ...

Nice clips RSV.....I just finished reading the Vulcan 607 book about the Falklands bombing run...To say it was a miracle they even got there let alone knocked out the runway is a massive understatement.
