Daz Sear VTR

Have just posted some photos of Daz Sears VTR in the Misc section of the photo gallery. Its the black framed, carbon bodywork with Ducati wheels.

Jason - Sealed exhaust with standar assembly paste. The only place i would not use this is on joins to any ports i.e. barrels.

Cheers

Ha ha

Top bloke.

Daz is a cracking lad and has quite a spectacular VTR 'fighter and what he sells is always quality.

Just make sure you seal the exhaust from the headers to the link pipe sufficiently as mine kept blowing there.

I bought one of Daz Sear aka Stormsmasher a couple of years ago. I believe he is currently selling one on ebay for about £200 if anyone is interested. Personally I liked the look as it made the storm stand out, however didn't like the sound or how it changed the power delivery. Sound changed from t...

Wheels

ZeroZero is right Storm is a 5.5"rear. This does not affect tyre choice at all. NC30 front is same width as storms too. The other good way of finding what wheels are compatible is to look at a catalogue like M&P's. You can then cross reference the storms bearing and brake disc reference num...

Wheels

Karlos Got a Blade rear and 17" NC30 front on mine. Will post photo later. The blade rears are fairly cheap and easy to come by however the 17" fronts get a little more pricey as a lot of the Blade owners snap them up. Try the usual channels like Ebay, Cheshire motorcycle salvage, Ebley Ho...

Bobbins

Kev

Crash Protectors they are.

You can adjust the chain and they make lubing it a lot easier. If you're after swapping the wheel then you'll have to get the lugs welded on to the swingarm or use the cup type padock stands.

Paddock Stand Bobbins

Regarding paddock stand bobbins R&G racing supply spindle sliders for the CBR 600 that will fit the VTR. They cost about £35 all in and come with a tie bar and 2 poly bobbins that slips down the centre of the existing rear wheel spindle. You just about get enough clearance to lift the rear whee...

I've got that set up on mine and storm braided hoses work fine.

I assume you're using standard master cylinder and calipers?

Blade forks are about 30mm shorter than storms but this doesn't affect the lines

Bink

Why do you want to fit SP1 Wheels anyway. If you're just after a different look and want six spokes then i've got a list of 6 spoke Honda wheels that'll fit the Storm. Got a set on mine.

Theres one at Cadwell near Lincoln in a couple of weeks run by Jamie Whitham.

£119 for one of the best bike circuits in the UK. I should be there thrashing the storm around.

Only downside is its not the safest of tracks as i'm sure Yukio Kagayama will testify!!!
