For all those interested I have just read in MCN that the proposed '2004' firestorm will be delayed until 20005 or??? This is because the current model has just passed the Euro emissions tests, which it was expected to fail, so Mr Honda can keep selling this one! Oh, well, more time to save up I sup...

I have ridden A Guzzi 1100 inj sport, and both bikes will seem very different, however you are right about the v-twin thing, the firestorm will still have some of the 'vibe' given by the engine design, (although bits don't fall off unlike the guzzi I tried!!!!) & the sheer grunt off the throttle...

... mine is possibly slightly darker then, I wouldn't call it light blue, but it looks similar to the photo you posted.

PS. am definaltely doing the flip flop mod when I have the time to find some over here!

Yep from previous threads on the subject inc. my own, depending on state of tune & how you ride 8O anywhere between 75 & 95 miles before reserve seems to be the way it goes.

Firestorms/hawks are well known for poor fuel economy :roll:

I get about 15 miles (safely) on reserve.

Yes... Motorcycle News printed some pics of what they believe it will look like, they are normally quite accurate with these pics.

I have photographed the relevant page & uploaded it to the Misc section in the gallery for you to look at.
