Re: Plastic Repairs...

I repaired the fairing of my old ZX6-R by lining up the crack(s) and using a soldering iron on the inside to seal. Worked a treat and was barely visible. T Yeah.. I have done that too. It takes a little time and stinks up the apartment but it works great! I used a scrap piece of plastic from anothe...

I cooked the pigtail for the headlight on my CBR600 with one of the 80/100's while running around with the brights on. Once I replaced the pigtail, everything worked fine.

Remember to mention US colors, or UK colors, etc. Canadian, European bikes are offered in different colors than in America.

In America they were offered in red, yellow (only one yellow that I know of) blue and black. At least, I think those were the colors offered.

Re: wrecked the sh1t out of my bike!

I had a wreck with my bike with similar results. Good luck! Here is what I did- About 70mph on the freeway. I was wondering if there were any interchangable parts with other bikes. I heard something about the 900rr. Here is what is totaled: front forks I got the entire front end, wheel, brakes, etc....

wot a disregard and waste of some good old tools, are they titanium or have you just added some more weight. Del (very good though but what happens in 3 months when you need that bloody socket to do some work on ya car?) My car is a 1968 Mercury Cougar! Not a metric bolt on the whole car. :D Wow......

Oh... I forgot to add this: The left side exhaust is spaced out a bit because of the width of the swing arm on the chain side. I bent the exhaust bracket a little to move the left pipe closer to the bike, and everything clears just right. When I put the sockets on, I was sure to put the "14mm&q...

hmmm.... I will have to check. I don't really remember. I had a local guy with a dyno do the set up, and I don't have the most confidence in the set up. I get some pinging and the bike seems to run hot now, but according to the exhaust gas analysis it should be fine. I *think* it was 190 front 185 r...

Re: Still can't find ART Pro Race Exhaust for VTR1000 in the

If not I'll just stick with Two Brothers and forget about keeping the rear pegs unless I go with standard mount cans. Why?? I have the Two Bros. high mounts and I have the rear pegs on my bike. Just get long bolts and some spacers, no big deal. I did it for under $30 at my local hardware store.

I have basically the same package as you do: two bros slip-ons, dyno jet jet kit, K&N airfilter (not supposed to help much if any) and stock gearing. Here in Phoenix on a 105 F evening I usually do 11.4's, with my best ever of 11.32 a couple of months ago. Not bad for a bike with 50,000+ miles o...

I worked here last year, and they could get Art Exhaust: http://www.pipecity.com 1-800-391-2571 You will need to call because they don't have Art on their website, ask for "Spanky" aka Kyle. I think they had some issues with the first couple of Art cans they sold, so they aren't really cra...
