I can't believe nobody has mentioned this, or I guess I could be horribly wrong: the 190/50 rear tire was designed for a 6 inch wide rim. the 180/55 rear tire was designed for a 5.5 inch wide rim. If you put a 190/50 on a smaller rim, you aren't going to get the same measurements that are listed abo...

bigshooter... one more thing... Since you have a Superhawk, I assume you are in the US. Canada is the closest place to get Firestorm stickers and bodywork. Keep a close eye on Ebay, I purchased a complete Firestorm body kit (fender, tank, headlight, taillight, fairings, seat, etc.) for about $600. T...

I had the same problem, fan wouldn't come on. My fuse was fine, fan turned by hand fine... problem arose after I changed ignition switches from 98 vtr to 2003 954RR ignition switch. I made the change in winter, so it took me a while to figure out the fan wasn't coming on. Anyway, my 98 vtr has a wir...

Hazmat, I have a spare cowl in the yellow for the 00 Storm, which is canary. It has a couple of nicks in it, but if it's the right one, drop me a line. That would be awsome! Does the yellow have a pearl look to it under sunlight? That has been my problem here. Some of the early US superhawks where ...

I know the 954/929 brake calipers will not fit the standard vtr1000 fork legs. I have heard, however, that they will with some grinding. I really doubt that is worth the effort. You will feel a big difference with the 954/929 master cylinder. The plunger is larger (by 3mm I think) so it makes lever ...

The US ... still only a 16L tank.............. shezz yanks aye  Yea.. I have to tell you that that little tank sucks here in the US. I have the Canadian Firestorm (same as UK spec I think) bodywork on my Superhawk. The bigger gas tank comes with a slight power loss, so I guess that is why the...
