Think the only prob i had was getting the side plate on far enough to leave enough to rivvet over. Im sure i modified an old broken G-clamp to do it.

On my last bike, daytona1000/4, i cut old chain off with angle grinder,and riveted new chain with ball pein hammer,holding small block of steel behind. Yep, totally agree mate, but £60 risers as opposed to £30,and, imo don't look that great,and the cutting of the fairing only takes a few mins,its the cutting the risers,drilling and tapping holes,thinking it out,that takes time. Cheers for the info matey, i def need something higher.
I know in normal riding the grips/levers would never touch the mirrors,but does happen manouvering in out my garage. Just hopin it doesnt fail mot .

Really a way of disguising them the 99% of the time most peeps don't have soft panniers fitted im looking for .
Or maybe i'll fit rear seat cowl again,just fancied change of look.
