On my last bike, daytona1000/4, i cut old chain off with angle grinder,and riveted new chain with ball pein hammer,holding small block of steel behind. Yep, totally agree mate, but £60 risers as opposed to £30,and, imo don't look that great,and the cutting of the fairing only takes a few mins,its the cutting the risers,drilling and tapping holes,thinking it out,that takes time. bars touching mirrors
More info please :) Im really interested,cos since fitting risers n superbike bars my grips/levers touch the mirrors just before full lock. To make things worse bike is due an MOT next week. Thought about buying those mirror extenders on ebay usa,which ,i think move them out around 1 1/4", and ...
