Re: Honey, I'm home!
I am forced to sell my beloved SP2....again....to fund a house purchase. Bike was provisionally sold to a mate but it looks like his Mrs. has put a stop to the purchase (she's refusing to co-sign the form to request money from their joint savings account haha) So if anyone is interested in buying my...

Re: FIREMONKEY - Moriwakis fitted :)
I have been told by Roger Ditchfield that a certain amount of play in the moriwaki cans is normal and quite important because of the brittle nature of titanium. He said that if everything is bolted up too tight it can crack, leading to long faces. It wouldn't worry me if they both had the same amou...

Re: FIREMONKEY - Moriwakis fitted :)
Nice firemonkey, full system or just cans? Can't do better than Moriwaki... Just cans, I've had them in the garage for three years since i sold the bike. Was determined to own another SP1/2 one day and it just so happens that I've bought the same bike back :) Still need to play around with them a b...

FIREMONKEY - Moriwakis fitted :)
Here are a couple of pics of the Moriwakis and LED taillight I fitted to my SP2 today and one to show the silly low mileage :) I still need to mess around a bit to get them level with each other (as with all twin exhausts) and clean off my mucky fingerprints. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a70/RRm...

Re: Honey, I'm home!
Back wheel is off ready to have the tyre fitted. The dirt on it curled up as I was wiping it clean, that's how caked in crud it was. Couldn't get the damn front wheel off as the paddock stand I borrowed wouldn't lift the front at the yoke without trying to crack the nose fairing :( Just have to hope...

Re: Honey, I'm home!
She's home and she's filthy, needs absolutely blitzing. All panels will come off and she'll be cleaned underneath too, probably full of spiders and flies and allsorts. Poor thing has been shoved in the back of a garage at my mates farm and hardly ridden for three years. The battery is weak but hopef...

Re: Honey, I'm home!
Went round to my mate's last night and negotiated the deal. Absolute bargain, serious 'mates rates' like you wouldn't believe :D Moving the Storm to another mates garage so there is room for the SP2, needs MOT and Tax then she's back on the road. Will run her for a couple of weeks standard to get a ...

Re: Honey, I'm home!
Me too mate, will advertise it on here once it's ready for sale, has a couple of nice bits that will be staying on it like APE manual CCTs, tinted double bubble, single seat cover etc. Here's the SP2 I'm getting back, can't wait :) Have had some trick bits sat in the garage since I sold it as I knew...

Honey, I'm home!
I've been away for a while but I'm back. I'm putting the storm back to standard ready for sale and buying back an SP2 that I used to own from a friend :) Had a bad few years with claims and the cheaper premiums on the storm served their purpose. Got a great quote on the SP2 and have been working lik...

I have just spoken to Jamie's Mum, Christine, and have an update for everyone. Jenny is out of hospital and home and although it may be some time before she can walk, she is expected to make a full recovery. From the kind donations that were received, half of the money has gone to Jenny, with the ot...
