I would say that's about right. Mine is set at around the same... any less & it's more likely to stall when you are sitting at the traffic lights :oops:

FYI the users manual recommends 1,100rpm +/- 100rpm

my HID bulbs have x2 filaments... I know this cos my full beam one recently failed. John IMHO your set-up John doesn't sound like a full HID light to me. The principal set up of a HID bulb is completely different to a conventional type bulb Doh! You are absolutely right... I just have Xenon bulbs.....

Couple of pics of ma new Maxton shocker if anyone's interested !

Also (for info) Penske sell the rubber mounts & clamps to attach the remote reservoir to the frame (no pics of this sorry - it's on the other side!)

Have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for 6 or so years now :D

Can pick up your googlemail with it via IMAP too.

Micro$oft Outlook etc is rubbish :twisted:

No, no workshop! Did it out in the friggin cold! The whole thing actuallly went pretty well... obviously the linkage bolts were a little hard to budge at first... but they came eventually. Linkage spacers, bearings etc were all in pretty good nick... for a 1997 storm! Also managed to do it without t...

Well I done it :D

New shock fitted & suspension linkage/bearings all greased up !!!

Thanks once again to this excellent website for all the help & advice I have got from it.

Finger tight adjustment less 1/2 turn worked perfectly for me :D ALSO, was just wondering... did anyone else find the lock nut on the tensioners was a VERY tight fit with a spanner ? There Imperial m8 9/16 and 5/8 AF I think off hand its down to them being from the US Doh! Of course! :oops:
