I would say that's about right. Mine is set at around the same... any less & it's more likely to stall when you are sitting at the traffic lights
FYI the users manual recommends 1,100rpm +/- 100rpm

my HID bulbs have x2 filaments... I know this cos my full beam one recently failed. John IMHO your set-up John doesn't sound like a full HID light to me. The principal set up of a HID bulb is completely different to a conventional type bulb Doh! You are absolutely right... I just have Xenon bulbs.....

Can pick up your googlemail with it via IMAP too.

No, no workshop! Did it out in the friggin cold! The whole thing actuallly went pretty well... obviously the linkage bolts were a little hard to budge at first... but they came eventually.
