discs
There are loads other Honda models (VFR's, CBR's, Hornet's....) that use the same discs its just a case of cross reference the part numbers, try an after market disc manufacturers website. I know someone makes replacement rotor kits that comes with new bobbins so you use your old carriers (centers) ...

Although visually the same apparently Blade calipers are different (presumably piston sizes) and are the first cheap upgrade for a Storm as they bolt straight on!

CCT
I'm thinking of getting a Varedero CCT to see what Honda have done to solve the problem and see if they can be modified to fit the VTR.
Or if my other post concludes that its just fronts that go and it points to oil starvation was gonna try a drip feed from the valve gear to lubricate it

It'll be a while before they're on as I've a fair bit of machining to do so I can fit the Harris Evo blade triple clamps and they'll get fitted at the same time.

5 spoke wheels
Just fitted a VFR 5 spoke on the front, then put the Storm one on the electronic scales and guess what? 700g lighter (Doh!) So anyone thinking of fitting CBR/VFR wheels it'll only be for looks cos it wont handle as well with heavier wheels.

Yep it's lowered the gearing and it doesn't foul the hugger in fact theres more clearence because of the smaller dia, I was advised against it but gave it a go cos it was a free tyre and I'm impressed with the results!
