Fleet services is downwards to me... I'll meet you at junction 3 around quarter past as it's just up the road a little further?
We will stop at Cobham anyway as you'll need to refuel lol

Re: M25 meet for grainstorm 2
BTT your welcome to meet at mine mate, but that means coming into London, there will be several lads leaving from south of London, duffy/tony and so on, maybe a meet with them might be easier. this is where we meet last time, Thurrock services...... http://motorwayservicesonline.co.uk/Map:Thurrock ...

Re: shocks that physically fit the storm that could be rebui
I'm on the assumption he wants to put a shorter shock in and make a new clevis pin to accommodate that fact?
That's the point I'm making that the shock length should be the same and the clevis not changed to make up for the shortfall in length.

Re: shocks that physically fit the storm that could be rebui
I was in no way knocking your ability to make the new clevis and I like the idea of making bits when you can, as I do myself, but just not sure creating a whole new theoretical point for the working of the suspension system is necessarily the way to go with it. You could see the changes such as: Sho...

Re: Fly Wheel lightening ?
Yeh lower speeds around town is not a vast difference but when you get onto the open roads it's noticeable. I guess you noticed the engine braking more so at those speeds too. It helps greatly when approaching speed cameras  see if I can beat Carls super light weight one  Not mine, GL_...

Re: shocks that physically fit the storm that could be rebui
Well a shorter shock isnt a problem as the difference can be taken up with a modified clevis at the top. Whats more important is the travel or stroke of the shock is at least as much as standard firestorm shock so full suspension travel is possible. The rest is then surely just a revalving of the i...

Thank you all for the nice comments about the bike.. more so with all the really nice bikes that are included and some cracking bikes like Jamie's etc about. Bless the little spanner monkey...
