Paid for the fuel, put the gloves and helmet on switched on the ignition pressed the starter but it didn't fire up, pressed it again and this time it fired. Wow!!! people in the forecourt and the kiosk all...

:Checked the fuse this afternoon and it was blown, fitted the spare and fired the bike up and let it run. The fan cut in at around half way on the guage. I will keep an eye on it to see that it continues to operate ok over the next few weeks. Can the fuses be bought at the like of Halfords or are th...

Cooling Fan
Fired bike up tonight for the first time in a few weeks as you do, and as I have never heard the cooling fan come on, I let it sit running for a while the needle kept going up and was about 1mm in to the red and the fan was still not on. In the 2 1/2 years I have had the bike I have never heard it c...

I had High level (race) Titanium Blue Flames fitted to mine and they were not symmetrical. One side was further out from the tail section than the other and one stuck out further at the back. I wrote to BF regarding this twice and they never replied. They are off just now as it is coming around to M...

 A mate of mine was having the same trouble with removing his seat with a grabrail fitted. He was watching me removing the seat off my storm one day and he could not believe how easy it was, although I must admit this mod (if you can call it that) was done by my bikes previous owner. The 2 meta...
I have used clear waxoil (for the last two years) on the underside and all areas exposed to the crap thrown up by the front wheel. When returning after being out in salty conditions I let the bike cool down wash the worst of the traffic film, dry it and spray the exhaust headers with good old WD40. ...

If you look at the size of the holes in the wolf racing baffles don't you think that the volume of gasses that would pass through them would be even less than the standard end can opening, hence my worries on the increased back pressure (will this restrict? stifle the power of the bike or could it c...

Baffles
:) The decibel killers are made by performance racing parts, I have pictures and info on them. I also bought a pair of quiet baffles from wolfracing, but what I did not know, was that they have to be fitted to the inlet end of the can. I had enough hassle getting the high level Blueflames to fit rig...

Racing /road legal cans
Can anybody tell me if there are any firms that will take your (racing ) cans and possibly fit a removable baffle to create a road legal silencer? I noticed in MCN 2 weeks ago that Blueflame are no longer selling racing cans and are producing only road legal cans. The article said that the(road lega...

Hesitation problem
I have had this happen to me about 3 times, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to it. When it happens it feels like you have momentarily ridden over a small patch of ice or like the clutch gives a miniscule slip. I thought it may possibly have been the chain riding up on the rear sprocket as the ...
