Is it possible to do both cylinders at the same time, i.e. measuring and removing all shims, to be able to order the ones required? If possible, this would save a lot of time. If I would do one cylinder at a time, I would have to order the shims for this, wait for them to arrive, and then do the ot...

Any Squeaking noise at start up?
I noticed you put manual ctt's in. If they are too tight it might be related. Check their tension whilst you have the cam covers off checking the timing.
