Having this issue with a 600 bandit and a zx6r. What i found was if i push the key forward towards the clock and turn it from this position it works fine. I've put it down to a worn barrel. Worth a try. Hope this helps.

Afternoon all, Invested in an ABBA bike stand and just gone outside to use it but I think they've given me the wrong fitting kit.
