Track day in the wet
Right then.. I'm going to be selling the storm and moving to Oz very soon. I have never done a track day and really want to. I was looking at this weekend for Lydden Hill but now weather looks like it's going to be proper shite. I could wait but the next one available / possible would be Brands Hatc...

Re: Rear CCT leaking oil
Cheers Benny,
To check I have this right as I didn't put the ccts in so not hugely familiar with it all.
Is the bolt coming out totally? Or do I just unwind the locking nut and degrease etc with the bolt in position/
Thanks matey...

Rear CCT leaking oil
It is leaking oil which is coming through the nut and down along the bolt. The picture tries to show this. It is only a very small amount. As per previous posts I seem to be losing about a litre every 1.5k miles but I would like to sort it. Any ideas on how to fix this? Don't spose I can just use a ...

Guess not!

Storm using oil
Hi all, I fear this could be expensive... My 02 storm, 33k miles is using about 1litre of oil every 1.5k miles. The exhaust isnt smoky. Am I right in thinking this is likely to be the valve guides and / or piston rings? If so how much does it cost to sort this? It would be way beyond me! The other p...

Re: Battery charging problem.... again
Thanks for your help Phil. I've been thinking that it may be an intermittent fault with the alarm. It's a Datatool system 3... sorry it was a Datatool System 3. All it is now a heap of dead circuit boards at the bottom of a bin!   A bit fiddly to get out but only a couple...

Battery charging problem.... again
Right my bike had a flat battery again the other day and this is a brand new battery. A couple of weeks ago you may remember I had a problem with my reg/rec connections which I have fixed. There is now a steady charge of 14 to 15v going into the battery on tickover and at 5k revs. I have also checke...
