my vtr firestorm as been missing at around 5000 revs did everything possible plugs carbs air filter cdi unit and after all that it was the timing 180 degress out so to the people that got it right well done it cost me all together about £500 to find out but im out today carnt wait anyway thanks for...

after trying everything possible plugs airfilter carbs balanced coils cdi unit,its now been at rtt motorcycle repairs for a week,its like waiting to be shot,i hope its something and nothing,he seems to think its vacim connected not timing so when i know i will let you all know cheers john.

if it is out how do i reset it correct

the cct's have been changed before i got it. How do i check if the timing is out 180 degrees? Also the trumpets in the top of the air filter were the wrong way round. I have put them right.

right here we go............ when i got the bike i was told that it was misfiring at 7000 revs so thinkin i knew what i was doing i replaced the plugs, the air filter, put the standard cans back on and it was still missing. So i then had it to the dyno and they told me it was only showing 70bhp and ...

im having problems, my bikes missfiring at 4000 revs its been on dyno and they said its running rich ive changed plugs air filter put standard cans back on, it sounds sweet till you hit 4000 revs, it doesnt stop it just misses tick over sounds ok im lost ,cash waiting to fix problem yorkshire area.t...

could the ignition coil make my bike start missing at 4000 revs and how do you check them cheers john.
