I've got Diablo's, they were on it when I bought it so can't compare to others but can't complain. I've replaced the rear but that was shagged when I got it.

I test rode an SV1000 before buying my VTR, I liked it a lot, just couldn't afford it. Around twice the price of what I got my VTR for, at the same price I would go an SV1000. I think the VTR looks better, albeit older, but the SV is much more modern technology. Both good bikes, better than an ...

I've got carbon "Shark" cans, they we're on it when I bought it and the bikes done 34,000kms and they seem fine. Loud though

I've got the small tank (early) model and my fuel light comes on at 130km city - 160km country, then it takes about 12 litres to fill up.

So I guess that's about 31-38mpg

Later models with bigger tank will get a bit further...
