Ok just to round the post off the bike is complete.Put the emulsion tubes in yesterday and have done roughly 100miles and not one nudge fart cough nothing just perfection. At one point I thought of selling the Storm when the thing was surging etc but I stuck with it and now have a complete bike. So ...

Just put a pair of Michelin Pilots 2CT on mine and the bike has been transformed compared to my old Metzlers.They look a very soft tyre so dont know how many miles I will get but they are very sticky on the road :thumbup:

Mine went through the same issues as you are having.I listened to all the advice and tried everything but nothing worked. Its only when I got the bike on a dyno the tester found the bike running rich on steady throttle and this was causing the problem(also check for dirty air filter)A dynojet kit wa...

Cheers for the response :thumbup: .I am looking at sorting the pillion out as the wife doesnt mind coming out once in a while.Dont need a full deep seat but need a little rear padding so maybe a gel insert may resolve it

I hope you get it sorted quickly and the damage if any is to the minimal .Another reason to put manuals in :thumbup: .Since I sorted mine and set them up my days out are a lot better and no more worrying.

Lovely looking bike.Mine is the same colour and also has a black belly pan.When I bought it the pan was yellow but a different shade as its a pain to match pearl yellow you need the colour code (It's on a sticker under your seat) http://www.rsbikepaint.com, paint code Y124P and bugged the butt out ...

Flush fit indicators

Has anyone got any recommendations for flush fitting clear indicators for the storm ? I like the oval non led ones but dont want to buy some if they dont sit flush on the fairing :thumbdown: any ideas chaps :thumbup: Also how visible are they to other traffic once fitted

Soapy water then dry it off.I then use Meguiars polish followed by Megs carnauba wax for a sparkling finish :thumbup:

Just an update after another 100 miles tonight . Bike fires up well and ticks over around 1100 and is steady with no lumpy feel :D .Very smooth power delivery and rides like a new bike.I get no back firing through the carbs and no exhaust popping through the exhaust. :thumbup: If I am totally honest...
