Dynojet Kit And Cans?
Hello. I am thinking about getting some race cans and a dynojet kit. I am unsure which cans to go for though... I am looking at the Motad Venom Oval Stainless cans and the Fuel Exhausts Oval Stainless cans... Both are road legal (with baffle fitted) and are around £300 with link pipes delivered. I ...

Re: Running Problems
Stripped the bike down today... Checked the fuel tap diaphragm... Thats OK. Decided to take the carbs off and see if there was anything amiss... Some moron had used some weird bright red flange sealant stuff on the float bowls.. took them off to find the main jet blocked up with some of the damn stu...

Re: Running Problems
Bit of an update... I have fitted the new choke assemblies and they are much better than the old ones...the old ones I think have been leaking, as riding with the choke on 1/4~1/3 is the same as no choke before... it has however, still got the problem... I will drain the tank and check the tap diaph...

Re: Standard exhaust
:) I cant claim that I thought of it first :( I remember an old post on here mentioning it... The only thing that would concern me, is I would really want them to look as standard as possible... cutting the end off them, gutting them, and then replacing the end cap (new or reuse stock) by riveting i...

Re: Standard exhaust
Good luck, its well worth the effort
Mind you, I think I might get a pair of cans cheap, gut them and make them into a pair of performance cans
I think PJ Engineering do the perforated tube

I disagree... the Puch Maxi never said it was going to be brilliant
and they are comical thinks...., so not boring....because every ride is an event
I think I would say the Yamaha XT125 (new ones)...

Re: Running Problems
Ordered a pair of choke assemblies today...
£74 for the pair :S...
Hope that sorts the problem :S...
while I wait for them to arrive I will drain my fuel tank, and remove the tap and check the diaphragm and clean the filter...
probably never been done so might help ...

Re: Dead battery
it might be easier to get a soldering gun :S not as accurate, but they are usually around 100w, so dont cool down as badly outside... personally though, I would just use spade/bullet connectors and crimp them onto the wires with a good set of crimps... Halfords have got 2 nice pairs at the moment Ma...

Re: CCT Failure Survey
hydraulic driven cams is the future imo. i had a brainwave invention once - like a chain & sprocket, but instead a small hydraulic pump driving a larger one, connected by stainless / flexible pipework.... i even bought some to experiment with - for a final drive it would be totally maintenance ...

Re: My toy nears completion
Just an idea, couldnt you fit the ignition switch to a custom plate where the coolant overflow bottle is as standard?
it would be out the way and the wiring could be run on the inside of the frame out of site...
as long as you relocate or fit a custom overflow bottle...

01, 11010. Nuff said. That isnt binary, binary needs 8 digits. GOD!!! Some people just dont play proper!! Actually, binary does not need 8 digits... binary is a base 2 number system consisting of 1 and 0 if you think about the power symbol you see on many electrical items, it is based on th...
