Re: My bike just pee'd coolant.

Have you checked to make sure the pipe is connected to the expansion bottle, if not you need to. There is also a pipe that that runs to the water pump side where if the seal fails it bleeds through the pipe and hence a drip on the floor.

Re: Hi new VTR owner in the heelans!

Howdy and welcome. Looks like another Storm owner in my neighbourhood. I'm in Spean Bridge.

Re: Red one in Fort William

Hi, All going well here thanks, settled in nicely and bought another bike. Not what I'm used to but Sue and me can trundle around looking at the sights on it in a leisurely fashion. When I want a quicker ride I'll be solo on the Storm. I'll swing by the Welcome Inn and say howdy to my neighbouring S...

Red one in Fort William

About 12.30pm today, turning left from Inverlochy onto the the A82 heading North. Had some sweet sounding exhausts.
Be nice to know if it was someone on here, as you can imagine not many stormers in this neck of the Highlands.

Re: Delkevic

I have thought about buying a pair of these, any chance you could let me know how much clearance there is between the link pipe and the chain. Is there a recess in the link pipe for the chain. Also mention if you have standard sprockets or different size. I have a standard front but 45t on the rear....

Re: Linkage help required

For future reference. If you have an engineers vice on a bench you can press the old one out using appropriately sized sockets. The same goes for pressing the new bearing in.

Bike for sale

Look at the bike then read the description, I thinks its some sort of cryptic code, but the bike, what has happened, did he ride it into a bush or make it look like a bush? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/cbr1000-/171513840152?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item27ef058218 Anyway, it made me chuckle

Re: alarm systems

I did have a datatool 3 which was a complete pain in the butt. Always going off when it shouldn't be. I would say the best option is a good chain and decent padlock and a good ground anchor. When locking make sure the padlock is not on the ground or can be put against something solid. Couple that wi...

Re: Are We All Balancing our Carbs Wrong

I have been using a Haines manual for all my bike maintenance. It states that the carbs are balanced the same. However after looking at a Honda service manual I downloaded it states that the rear cylinder should be 20mm HG more. Next time I have some time on my hands I'll be balancing the carbs to t...

Re: Where is your spiritual biking home?

Things never quite go to plan. Had the house we wanted pulled from under us in Fort William. We are now in temporary accommodation in Fort William waiting for our house to go through in Spean Bridge (10mile North of FW). Not quite as big as we wanted but it'll do just fine. Who on the forum is near ...
