Re: Bikes & Bikers
Well that is the truth here too, I did commute on bus/train/bus to work and same home again in 1981 when I was an apprentice it was barking awful then and little has changed. No matter how hard we try there is always going to be some upset but we must press on. I was lucky back then and could ...

Re: New battery
Charge 'im up and not on a 4amps RMS charger and if you do, only once. A battery is almost like a living cell, keep it excercised or is that ostracised or circ... No a trickle charge only. Best charge is your bikes three phase charge from the alternator. Only one phase out of the power point to your ...

Re: vtrstarved downunder
You are onto it, they are the old tyres that came with the bike when I bought it new back in December 2002. When it was new I was not real impressed with the original tyres and they came off for some better suited for track days, I kept the old ones and was going to reuse them at some stage. I was ...

Re: Bikes & Bikers
Still get the odd wave or nod here in Aussie, lots of them seem to just give a withering stare tho if one dares a nod in their direction. Those in colours, don't bother, they just give ya the forks and are more interested in scaring women and small children. I have many mates on BMWs these days and ...

Re: vtrstarved downunder
Thanks for the help everyone, much appreciated, I will check the plumbing  for the carbs and air box etc. It does make sense that there is a breather pipe or connection not quite right as I was carefull to get the mixture screws back to the position they were at when the carbs first came off ...
