petrol splash back on fill up

Is it just me or does petrol splash back out of the tank if you fill up from the left side of the bike,
some sort of rubber skirt under the fuel cap that had a slit in it would be good so you can put the
pump nozzle in and not get splashes of fuel everywhere.

stupid idea or not?

Re: maxxis tyre,s

wierd how different people like different tyres i couldn't get on with perelli's but that was due to a sudden deflation (no puncture or leaky valve) on the motorway at xxxmph on my gsxr i just lost confidance in them, ultras are better than normal storms, tbh i wouldn't use anything other than avons...

Re: firestorm is not a sports bike

right after 2 and a bit weeks i think its safe to say the storm IS a sports bike. My trouble was i was trying to ride her like a il4 and not a twin, i finally got near my potential (probably 50% of the bikes potential) with her yesterday when i was going through cheddar gorge with a friend on his zx...

i was pondering this earlier i've seen the term swarm on a few threads but i don't think hornet riders would like us stealing it so come on guys lets be original!

I can think of a really nerdie term for a group of vtr riders.....
