I do sit the bike up, still it splashes i guess the trick is to fill it up slower!

petrol splash back on fill up
Is it just me or does petrol splash back out of the tank if you fill up from the left side of the bike,
some sort of rubber skirt under the fuel cap that had a slit in it would be good so you can put the
pump nozzle in and not get splashes of fuel everywhere.
stupid idea or not?

Seen a rather clean yellow storm coming from tesco in brislington bristol heading towards the bath road,

wierd how different people like different tyres i couldn't get on with perelli's but that was due to a sudden deflation (no puncture or leaky valve) on the motorway at xxxmph on my gsxr i just lost confidance in them, ultras are better than normal storms, tbh i wouldn't use anything other than avons...

did you know that the current speed limit (70mph) were set in the 60's based on stopping distances of old fords and rovers of that era, now modern cars (forget bikes the government never factor them in research) with can pull up loads quicker than that even non abs cars so is it time they put the li...

centre mounting radiator
want to cafe racer my vtr. I got a norvill/dunstall top fairing to go on her and she'll look good with it and a centre mounted bandit headlight on her, it just doesn't flow with the side mounted rads.... So how easy is it to centre mount the rad, whats the do's and don'ts of doing it? Does it advers...

i had avon vipers, storms and storm ultra 2s. The vipers were brilliant but wore out within 2k storms were very good went to 3.5k and the ultra 2s done about 1k before benny hedges took the zxr and they were as good as new they were the best tyre i've ridden on and vipers and storms have a puncture ...

right after 2 and a bit weeks i think its safe to say the storm IS a sports bike. My trouble was i was trying to ride her like a il4 and not a twin, i finally got near my potential (probably 50% of the bikes potential) with her yesterday when i was going through cheddar gorge with a friend on his zx...

i got the rd350 (as a swap for my vx800) as it was a mot failure spent around £150 on suspension bushes (£50 EACH) and broke 2 trying to press them in so i sold her for £500ish making £350 profit :) i purposely booked her for an mot so i could ride her a few times then cancelled the mot lol dodg...

yarp, you can see two of my old bangers on there aswell, the vx800 was my first bike and i abused it so much the poor thing
