Thanks for the welcome and replies folks. So is low compression on the front cylinder a common thing? If so what is the usual culprit and the usual fix? Oh and the bike is mint and the dealer is replacing the cct's before i pay for it.

Just a quick line to introduce myself. My name is Den (Denis) and i live in north tyneside. I have had 3 vtr's in the past and hopefully coming back onto one very soon. The storm i'm looking at has 35000 miles and was wondering if this considered high miles. It is a 1998 in black. Cheers in advance....
