cheers for all the advice folks. like the title says though, i ll rock it up somewhere along the way! have a friend whos handy with the spanners so think i ll let him do it if its got fitting instructions.

hey all.
I've just ordered a set of manual ccts but i've no confidence in fitting them. if anyone in the notts area can lend a knowledgable hand infinites brews can be provided!

thanks for the info guys.
bearing all that in mind i reckon i ll stick with what i have, as they aint cheap and it doesnt look as though theres much to gain from it.

Is it worth it?

just a query.
The thought of going touring on the bike makes me feel a bit nervy what with the thursty git emptying the tank after about 120 miles ish. so thought id find out how much of an improvement on range i can expect if a swap for a post 01 19 litre tank. ( if i can find one anyway)

Hey all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding sourcing a set of manual ccts?

mine seem fine at the moment but looking to make it death proof before the season starts.

hey watch out for the regulator/rectifier. its crap. swap it for something like an r6 or r1 i think theyre the same anyway. if you look in the workshop section theres a decent how to with photos. if it blows it may take out lots of other expensive bits!.

Silver 5 series estate FM59.... rear facing camera on the back right hand corner of the roof gave it away.

Hi all. got meself a 99 wth ohlins rear shock and microns, only got it end of last september so only managed about a 500 miles on it so far. lovin it so far!
