Mile Cross/Heigham street. Norwich

I was just out in the yard polishing the filthy alu bits, when a lovely black and red storm came down milecross road and onto heigham street by Gibraltor gardens. Rider had white and blue leathers with ACE across the back.

Was it you?

Re: snatchy/unsettled

My old man rides a Tuono Factory, so I asked him if his is unsettled on a steady throttle, and he said no. I too wondered if it was just normal Vee running.

Re: lights on dash

Sounds like it mate. Theres 4 bulbs underneath that light up all the dials. I got the capless rear/tail light bulbs from Wilcos to replace mine (all were blown when I got it :eek2), 69p each.

Just remove the three 10mm bolts and youll see the rubber gromits holding the bulbs in.

Re: Firestorm on ebay?

Congrats mate! As for R/R yeah they are a weak point. The original is a square thing that overheats.

You'll want one with fins so it can dissipate the heat nicely. You can get a CBR125 R/R for a decent price in fleabay, beauty is they are plug and play.

Re: snatchy/unsettled

That makes perfect sense and something I hadn't considered.

I was gonna buy a new filter and get the mechanic to put it in as he was going there anyway.
Perhaps I had best atleast check the brand that's already in it this weekend.

Thanks Chris,
Nigel.

She's booked in for next Wednesday for a clean and balance. I'll do the plugs and filter ASAP.
