Had 1 as a courtesy bike, reckon i would lose my licence on it easier than on the k1300, the small screen does a very good job at keeping wind off you at 90-100mph, but it is so easy to ride that you end up riding like a tw@ cos you can and its hell of good fun.

I've never had any problems, touch wood, but you do hear of problems with start switch etc but all switch gear should of been changed under warranty by now. ESA is brilliant you do notice the difference if you have it set wrong. Most people love the gear shift assistant, but it is the one extra that...

Best bike I've ever had, went from the storm to a R1100s then the K1300s, ESA brilliant, once you get used to lack of(or should i say different) feedback from front end, you just learn to trust it. sticks like sh*t to a blanket, fairly comfy 2 up as well.

Good choice, I had ARTS when I had my storm, very loud, could set car alarm off if started too close, ended up taking them off (reluctantly) due to annoying neighbours early in morning, sounded good though.
