Re: Spaceport Coming to Cornwall

I hear what you guys are saying but that's a very narrow minded way of looking at things. We have much bigger problems than how to earn money to support the systems in place that pollute the planet more and what use is money going to be when we have more natural disasters caused by the industrialisa...

Re: Air filter burnt hole in it

Another worthless blogger talking shite and wasting bandwidth FFS Maybe he should get off the bike and walk if he wants low risk. Riding a motorcycle comes with risks, man up is what I would say. I wonder if he only approaches single woman. Is he going to have a go at her if some road gravel flicks ...

Re: Replacing cush drive rubbers

Just change then out for whatever you can afford at the time. Cheaper one will most likely harden up sooner but like you say buy cheap buy twice. The main thing is to fix what you have now.

Re: Spaceport Coming to Cornwall

I think that's why they have to go through it at the appropriate angle as well as not to burn up. I'm waiting for the first instance of virgins version of Columbus or attack of the space junk. That's once they have run the gauntlet through Amazons and everyone else's drone flying in the skies at low...

Here's what's possible with a bit of work https://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=18681&start=17175#p449570 I think Givi is the way to go but it requires a few modifications. You can easily put a Renntec rack on but that is a bit light weigh and not really strong enough to hold a top box.

Having a rave up on my own with some alcohol in front of the TV watching Glastonbury and listening in to it blasting out Bowers and Wilkins speakers via my receiver  More commonly known as pissing off the neighbours

Exactly....I wonder if they remembered how to use a pen and paper  I read about those ransomware attacks the other day. It doesn't help that they pay up. One company recently refused to on principle and it ended up costing them more than the ransom. But even us little people have that threat to...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Geez lucky...I think you may have got away with that one with minimal damage. The land will grow back super quick and the burn back may even help generate some good growth. Ash is a good fertiliser for all that arid land. Your home and outbuildings still stand so that's super good. And I'm with Alan...

Re: Your top speed

I think there is some confusion here over slip versus contact / grip. Tyre makes contact with ground and when you accelerate there naturally has to be some slip to get grip which is more contact than slip really on a good surface with good tyre which causes wear. It's like the physical motion of rot...

Re: Edit window mess

Well as if by magic it has fixed itself. Not sure what was going on there. Maybe a connection bottleneck.
