Little Johnny
The teacher asked the class to use the word “fascinate” in a sentence. Molly put up her hand and said, “My family went to my granddad's farm, and we all saw his pet sheep. It was fascinating." The teacher said, “That was good, but I wanted you to use the word ‘fascinate,’ not 'fascinating'.” Sa...

Re: How to fit stick coils
What have folks used to glue the VTR rubber seal to the CBR coil body? I never bothered but it does wiggle a bit more than I'd like. It would be better to keep water away from the plug too. I used left over "special silicone" that came with my carbon adi case covers and it has held up ver...

Re: Carb slides, 1 hole or 3 ..... an explanation.
Like most, when talking about the single lift hole one important bit seems to be overlooked by most. The single lift hole is ONLY to be used with the short stack. Running both carbs (with stock stacks) with a single lift hole will not work (and was never recommended.) Also if you run something like...

Re: Bump start
My 2 comments are first I use a "battery tender" from the old std battery days. Yes it is safe to charge your lithium battery with one, you just can't let it sit on the charger (you need to unplug it when charged). As for bump starting, the old dirt bike method seems to work. Get the bike ...

Re: clip removal for spark plug
It is a "clam shell" type of clamp that opens in the middle. It has been a while but I believe you push the bottom half to one side which allows it to open. It can be tough to open. option "B" would be to remove the plug boot from the HT lead and slide the lead through the clamp....

The old timers .....
The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you." Yes, she says, "I remember it well." OK, he says, "How about...

Re: Some days its good not to ride the bike....
Flippin' 'eck Mike, glad you're still here to tell the tale 8O You must have been pushed down the road with that amount of impact from that speed. It even looks like the prop is hanging down. I hope you're not too badly battered and bruised today? Chris. I am doing much better than I should be. Goo...
