Day 1 - Hanoi to 'Dream' Mo Waterfall "It's all gone a bit pear shaped..." http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll7/firestorm_996/NB3/Day%201/Day%201.png Ok. Tricky write-up this one, because this is one day when it all went a fair bit pear-shaped and to be honest one that we would all rath...

NamBusters III - the Rollercoaster.

Well, we're all now back from Nambusters 3, and what a trip it was. It's fair to say that NB3 most definitely did not go to plan, but that's adventure biking for you! We had our fair share of challenges along the way, but more of that in the next post... http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll7/firest...

Re: Rain Riding

I used to have one of those all in one waterproof suits, which were very effective but I always seem to pull a muscle struggling into the damn things. Plus I hate getting too hot and those suits are a guaranteed way of overheating. I ditched mine (actually it fell out of the bungee net on the A14 wh...

Re: Michelin Pilot Road 3

Got PR3's on my storm. They're getting on a bit now, been on at least two years and have been around Europe plus done lots of commuting and motorway miles. Probably got about 9k on them at a guess. The only wet weather slide I remember having is when they were reasonably new, rounding an autobahn sl...

Re: NamBusters II - Return to North VietNam

Cheers chaps :plainsmile Until 2 weeks ago I wasn't going, due to home & family holiday plans for next year, I was genuinely gutted. Then my missus suggested I go because I wouldn't be happy otherwise, so boom - within 2 weeks I've sold some stuff, paid for flights, hotel etc and am looking forw...

Re: Nambusters III

Look forward to your ride updates and pics I'm currently reading 'A Short Ride in the Jungle: the Ho Chi Minh Trail by Motorcycle' by a young lady who did it on a pink C90 http://www.theitinerant.co.uk/adventures/the-ho-chi-mission/ I read that book a while back. Quite entertaining. Fair do's to he...

Re: Break levers

I fitted some a couple of months back, no drag on the brakes at all and the fit & adjustment is superb. I pressure-bled my front brakes while I was at it and the difference was huge. Being cheap and chinese I half expected them to be made of mild cheddar, but I have to say the build quality is f...

Continuing the saga from Nambusters II, we will be starting in Hanoi again and heading generally west to the Laos border, before workin...
