I found it an easy job !
Took it to Biketech in longport and they fitted manual ones cost £250 for both

Re: Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
3 grand! I hope they fitted manuals foc. I know, low mileage, yeah, but that just means it's spent some years just sitting. Had a look at the previous mot mileages online? Still, if you're happy, good enough and hopefully you'll get a few more years out of it. He was asking 3300 and he accepted 300...

Re: Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
Very nice. Such low miles. First one I had was silver so I can appreciate it. So long as they're not yellow it's all good I like the silver, except my ST was also silver lol. A change might have been nice. Kinda like yellow bikes :D I bought a new kwaka zx6r and chose the yellow and black version.

Re: Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
Welcome mate. Looks like a pretty good buy with so few miles. Cheers matey :) I’ve always liked something different and the VTR does it for me. I searched long and hard for a low miles unit. Payed off in the end :) It feels tiny after getting off the st. Like being back on a 600 lol. No bad thing :)

Re: new tyres :)
I was running Michelin pilot 5s on the Triumph st. They are the best wet tyre by far. They have a pretty well V shape as the bike both turned and dropped very quickly. Stick rather well on nice days and allowed me to drop the bike on its ear. Not so sticky on cold days. As I’ve had the rear starting...

Re: Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
welcome to the forum, good to see a low mileage bike, tbh your bike would be prone to acct failure, as it's been sitting for most of it's life. they tend to fail after long spells of inactivity, good to hear you got it sorted. enjoy the bike and feel free to ask any questions.... Yeah its...

Re: Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
Thanks !
Loving the bike and its long legged relaxed gait.
It feels much slower than my ST1050 but I think the speed may be deceiving as I seem to be doing the ton every time I check the clock

Hello Storm troopers ! Stoke on Trent
Hello to all the troopers :) Just starting out with the Firestorm. Bought an original 97 model in silver for £3000. Not in too bad nick with just 4336 genuine miles on the clock. Last bike was a Triumph ST1050 ( superb bike ) Story so far..... Bought the Storm 3 weeks ago. Rode it home from Wrexham ...
